During three dates in July 1979, pianist Red Garland recorded enough material to fill up three sets; unfortunately, none of the music has yet been reissued on CD. This particular album has some good playing by Garland in a trio with bassist Ron Carter and drummer Ben Riley; guitarist Kenny Burrell helps out on three of the six numbers. The group performs six superior standards, including &Yours Is My Heart Alone,& &Have You Met Miss Jones& and Clifford Brown's &Daahoud,& and Garland shows that even this late in his career, he was still a fine player with a musical conception of his own.
