维京金属是黑金属音乐的一个分支流派。 此种乐风是以黑金属为架构，一样使用失真吉他、双踏、黑腔、键盘等等的演奏方式，不过编曲上比黑金属要注重旋律，曲风也比较没有那么凶狠、肃杀、反而多了一些较为抒情的感觉。
