一首歌，或因为旋律，或因为内容，或因为吟着它的人......某个瞬间你就为之倾倒，然后自然或不自然地按下重复键，从此就像是心痕一样再也无法从你的记忆里抹去。一首，两首，三四首...慢慢地，随着时间，他们就成了你一缕一缕地记忆，你的手指或许在删除键上徘徊过，但无论多少次的徘徊，你的理智最终告诉你，他们是再也删不掉的，就像是毒，只会越陷越深......

歌者无意，听者有心。这应该不是在描述哥特音乐，更多时候是歌者有意，听者无心。你不会一开始就爱上哥特音乐，你只会被其中的一个旋律，或者瞬间的一个气势而吸引，然后慢慢地去体味，去深思，去发掘，然后你才能感歌者之感，被恢宏或唯美打动的同时探出创作者的思想，绝非肤浅，绝非悲凉，绝非绝望。

难以定义哥特音乐到底的风格，你可以说它是黑暗的，另类的，不太主流的，也可以说它是气势恢宏的，唯美的，带点儿高雅的。

许多哥特音乐其实是种心灵的洗礼，黑暗变得光明，超脱阳光下的自我，学会醒悟，学会献身，并得到内心的宽恕。就好像阴暗本身其实是种巨大的宽恕与包容。哥特存在的意义在于它像一面镜子一样，生于黑暗却又讽刺着黑暗，让人们看到生命的可贵。
