这是我最喜欢的一个民谣团！少见的夫妻档乐团。老公 Richie Blackmore ,曾经是当年叱吒风云的硬摇滚乐团 Deep Purple(深紫乐队)与Rainbow(彩虹)的创始者，其70年代新古典吉它宗师的地位无可动摇。老婆 Night 是一位名不经传的民歌手，原来在 Blackmore 的乐队中作背景和声。二人成婚后妻改夫纲，Richie Blackmore，响誉乐坛三十年的吉它英雄，被老婆改造成为中世纪牧羊人，玩起了民谣。曾几何时的电琴咆哮变成了真琴私语......

传奇式乐队Deep Purple和Rainbow的英国吉他手Ritchie Blackmore和他的妻子Candice Night组成的夫妻乐队 Blackmore\'s Night，曾经唤醒了多少人的耳朵。神仙眷侣虽然年岁相差达26岁，但这并不影响他们对音乐的理解一致。Ritchie Blackmore从他的Hard rock(硬摇滚)中抽身而和妻子共同步入美妙的world music, Renaissance, new age, folk领域，源自于Ritchie Blackmore的文艺复兴（Renaissance）情结。

虽然离开了其深爱的Hard rock(硬摇滚),但Ritchie并没有完全放弃自己心爱的Fender Stratocaster，也并不影响他在Blackmore\'s Night里用原声木吉他演奏出醉人的旋律，高超的技艺无处不在。Night清爽ethereal式的嗓音辅于各种中世纪乐器----曼陀铃，键盘， 锡哨，提琴，铃鼓，军鼓，手摇风琴等让人体验到从来没有过的美妙感受。Ritchie曾这样形容Blackmore\'s Night----\"Mike Oldfield meets Enya.\"
