“2001年之后，Chris Spheeris已经有整整11年没有发表原创专辑了。虽然期间他转型演唱了一些流行歌曲，但是影响力不可同日而语。经过“十年磨剑”的漫长等待之后，这位希腊帅哥终于以这张厚积薄发的杰作强势复出。这张专辑源自他为2008年反映第三世界国家男女平等问题并荣获三项艾美奖（最佳纪录片、最佳导演和最佳配乐）的纪录片《In A Just World 平等世界》所创作的配乐。专辑名称Maya并非南美“玛雅”而是印度教的虚幻女神和湿婆神之妻“麻耶”，也有幻境的含义，因此专辑准确译名应该是“空幻境界”。专辑虽然以印度和中东风格为主，但同时也加入了大量吉他、钢琴、弦乐等西方乐器，东西方两种音乐风格水乳交融，别具一格。” 以上是借花献佛，现在来谈下我自己浅显的评价吧 记录片果然是好物。力与美的激情碰撞，这不是说它很吵，newage是不吵的，各种鼓点节奏和曲调人声很和谐的结合在一起，话说有六分多钟。 |
