许多哥特音乐其实是种心灵的洗礼，黑暗变得光明，超脱阳光下的自我，学会醒悟，学会献身，并得到内心的宽恕。就好像阴暗本身其实是种巨大的宽恕与包容。哥特存在的意义在于它像一面镜子一样，生于黑暗却又讽刺着黑暗，让人们看到生命的可贵。
