Third Stream 第三潮流也叫“第三流派”一词是冈瑟 舒勒于1957年在布兰代斯大学的一次讲座上杜撰出来的，他指的是这样一种音乐——它通过即兴演奏或书面作曲或这两者兼顾的方式，将西方当代艺术音乐的基本特性和技巧与各种民族音乐或地方音乐综合到一起。这种概念的核心就是，任何一种这张爵士歌单故意用了Jass一词而没用Jazz一词。顾名思义选曲的就是一些在爵士诞生及诞生初期的曲目。因为那时jazz一词还没用来定义现在我们所知道的各种爵士乐。Jass一词属于19世纪90年代劳工使用的俚语，说是指的男女交欢的行为，兴奋后乱喊乱叫的人。Jazz一词最早刊登于1913年3月6日的《旧金山公报》上，但那时并没广泛认可，所以1920年代以后以后才有爵士乐一说。乐都会从它和其他音乐的冲突中受益。因此，西方艺术音乐的作曲家可以从爵士乐的节奏活力和摇摆特性学到许多东西，而爵士音乐家也可以从古典音乐的大型曲式和复杂的调性体系中找到新的发展途径。
曾有人试图把爵士乐和西方艺术音乐的要素融为一体--让这两种主流联合而形成“第三流派”，该术语就是指的这种风格。

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 分享一曲我比较喜欢的钢琴大师弗雷德里希·古尔达和爵士大乐队（big band）合作的古典类爵士作品，有兴趣的朋友可以耐着性子听一听，万一能融入进去十八分钟也不算太长。古尔达也是著名女钢琴大师俗称钢琴女祭师阿格里奇的老师，从上个世纪六十年代醉心于爵士乐，经常在古典音乐会结束后又马不停蹄得跑到小酒馆一群爵士乐手玩即兴，一时传为佳话。 回到正题，这首曲目名为梦幻4独奏...我想代表着4种乐器的独奏，不过我在音乐中分明听到了5种独奏的乐曲，分别是长笛、单簧管、小号、吉他、萨克斯管，这里不做深究。所以古尔达老师并没有钢琴独奏，此曲中的钢琴仅作为装饰，配器。音乐在弱弱的乐团合奏中展始，43秒一阵长笛声娓娓道来，在悠扬的旋律中展开主体，到了4分10秒时单簧管进来开始一段solo，并在不久后的乐团合奏中后放大音量并迎来加了塞子的尖声小号，气势汹涌，又是一段齐奏，逐步铺垫。忽然一段吉他弹奏的佛拉明戈在这时破窗而入，趁势变奏提速，切换主题并渐入佳境，最后由两把萨克斯带来新的乐思，缓缓的从合奏主旋律到进行对话，在集体高潮后由两把萨克斯，小号，吉他最后一次强调主体，在摇滚乐常见的吉他哇音中恢复宁静，长笛和单簧管跳出来呼应最开始的主体，在梦幻般的旋律里，长笛声中伴随吉他的拍子越来越弱，渐行渐远…… |
