慢核是Indie Music（独立音乐，归属摇滚）中最重要的分支流派之一，以其缓如蜗牛的速度而著称。当然它也温柔如春风。

始终游移的旋律和徘徊前行的节奏，而这所有的一切都包裹在一种“愁”的氛围之下，也可以说是岁月的厚重感和伤感。慢核通常都更关注于音乐而不是歌词 --- 事实上，有很多慢核乐队就是纯乐器乐队，但是我更喜欢有歌词的歌曲。
