很多暗潮团专辑、相关杂志封面，都喜欢用波兰已故‘黑暗空想艺术家’济斯瓦夫·贝克辛斯基（Zdzisław Beksiński，1929年2月24日－2005年2月21日）的经典美术作品。他的杰作表达的阴暗氛围非常到位，暗潮音乐也正是要像这样子制造一种略带压抑窒息、冷静阴暗的神秘氛围，如中美洲部落的氛围，带宗教仪式感的祭祀氛围，异教氛围的新古典和民谣……
