实验大乐队 Experimental Big Band
顾名思义就是以大乐队的形式结构对Avant-Garde/Free Jazz进行演绎。早在60年代Free Jazz浪潮兴起时，就有部分实验性的大乐队开始尝试融入Free Jazz元素，并在一些先锋乐团及作曲家的协助下影响力不断增强，他们开始尝试愈发富有无调性，“不和谐美”，结构日益复杂的实验作品。从像Sun Ra Arkestra Carla Bley这样的团体开始，到Little Huey管弦乐团的纯粹混沌，每一支先锋实验爵士大乐队/乐团都仿佛是酿造着盘古混沌的孕日方舟。群龙结彩或许没有独鹤飘逸得那般耀人，但在与星语幻樱的起舞中，他们奇思的诡丽星汉绝对亦是供我们漫步泰坦之银辉脊索的酵梦酒池。
