Within Temptation是一支表现出色的荷兰美声派金属乐队，曲风悠扬，但更专注于乐曲的情感呈现，并以女主唱Sharon飘渺的动人音色为主轴，其音色更为浑美，在转音及高音表现上也都更显出色，完全突显出Sharon的美妙音色。

在希腊神话中有一个以声音来迷惑人类的海妖Siren，传说没有人能够逃离她诱人美妙的歌声，其实在现实中也有一个诱人的海妖，她就是来自挪威的歌特金属乐队——Sirenia。

Nightwish（夜愿，台湾译名“日暮颂歌”）是一支成立于1996年来自芬兰的剧院金属（美声金属）乐队。乐队大多数歌曲的词由键盘手托马斯·霍洛帕尼所撰写，前任女主唱塔雅·图仑尼的声音使得夜愿扬名国际。在2005年10月塔雅·图伦尼被开除后，他们找到了Anette接任，并且也增加了贝斯手马可·希耶塔拉的声部。夜愿的音乐风格除了剧院金属和新金属，还有其他音乐元素。托马斯曾经形容他们的音乐为“用女声表现的旋律金属”。
