The Unthanks，以前称为Rachel Unthank and the Winterset，直到2009年她们改了名字，是来自英国诺森伯兰郡的一个民谣团体。 她们2004年8月在Towersey村艺术节上首次演出，并于05年5月11日，开始准备她们的首张专辑。Cruel Sister便是她们们的首张专辑， 首张专辑就得到了BBC Radio 2的强烈支持，以及被Mojo杂志评选为当年的最佳民谣专辑。

随后2008年发行了第二张专辑“Biarns”，同样取得了不俗的成绩：BBC Folk Awards的200年最佳民谣专辑，Mercury Music Prize最佳专辑的提名，以及英国单曲榜的第178位。2009年，带着她们的第三张专辑“Here\'s the Tender Coming”再次给歌迷们很多惊喜。
