by Andy KellmanForever Sweet was a power trio of sorts, a supergroup of producers based in Cologne, Germany. Comprising an all-star lineup of Tobias Thomas, M. Mayer, and Reinhard Voigt, the trio's collaborative productions were rather straight-ahead tech-house, remaining danceable without too much experimentation. The trio's alignment with the founding fathers of house (and even dance pop) was evident in track titles like "True Blue," "Don't Speak," and the ABBA-referencing "Super Trouper." Along with a series of 12" singles for Ladomat 2000 in the late '90s, Forever Sweet released the CD compilation Geben and Nehmen in 1998. The group also did remix work for Andreas Dorau.
