Fairly new to the music world and life in general, The Hails are a young rock ‘n’ roll band from Gainesville, FL. The band’s proximity to and inclusion in the nearby college scene has helped spur a movement of electric and vibrant live music near the outskirts of the University of Florida. Comprised of lead vocalist Robbie Kingsley, guitarists Dylan McCue and Franco Solari, bassist Andre Escobar, and drummer Zach Levy, The Hails offer a new brand of modern alternative rock that harkens back to the spontaneity of Jim Morrison and adds the smooth undertones of Frank Ocean into a mix of fresh sounds.
The Hails' approximately two years as a band have produced a five-song EP, a single, and numerous vivacious live performances. The Hails continue to steadily build a passionate fan base with each new show. Although Gainesville and Miami have been the band's primary places of residence, the band's reach includes most of the southeastern United States.
