Dante Lee、Marina and the Diamonds在内等众多歌手和DJ的认可。
专辑收录了单曲《Habits》和《Not on Drugs》,以及与瑞典的DJ Lucas Nord的合作单曲《Run on Love》的新版本。
2014年9月15日,托芙·罗与DJ Alesso的合作单曲《Heroes (We Could Be)》释出;9月30日,Tove Lo的首张录音室专辑《Queen of the Clouds》正式发行。
Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson (born 29 October 1987), better known by her stage name Tove Lo is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She was born and raised in Djursholm, a suburb north of Stockholm, where she graduated from musical magnet school Rytmus Musikergymnasiet. Lo formed the Swedish rock band Tremblebee in 2006. Following the disbanding of Tremblebee, Lo pursued a career in songwriting and earned a publishing deal with Warner/Chappell Music in 2011. Working with producers Alexander Kronlund, Max Martin and Xenomania, Lo became a successful songwriter while she was recording and independently releasing her own compositions. In 2014, she was signed to Martin's songwriting collective Wolf Cousins and was offered a recording deal. She signed to Island and Polydor Records.
Lo rose to fame with the release of her debut studio album Queen of the Clouds, which opened at number 14 on the U.S. Billboard 200 in October 2014. The album spawned the sleeper hit single, "Habits (Stay High)", which peaked at number three on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. In addition to her solo work, Lo has cowritten a number of songs for other singers, including Hilary Duff's "Sparks" and Ellie Goulding's "Love Me like You Do", which garnered her first Grammy Award nomination on 7 December 2015.
Deemed "Sweden's darkest pop export" by Rolling Stone,Lo is known for her raw, grunge-influenced take on pop music. Her characteristically honest, complex and autobiographical lyrical content has led to Lo being dubbed "the saddest girl in Sweden" by a number of media sources.
At the 2015 Grammys, Lo won in the categories for Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year for "Habits (Stay High)". Lo was featured on Swedish group Urban Cone's single "Come Back to Me", released in March 2015 for their album Polaroid Memories. In May 2015, it was announced that she will be featured on a song for Adam Lambert's upcoming album The Original High.Lo also co-wrote the 2015 singles "Love Me like You Do" by Ellie Goulding and "Sparks" by Hilary Duff. She went on to write other two tracks of Duff's fifth album Breathe In. Breathe Out., "Stay In Love" and "One in A Million"."Love Me Like You Do" earned Lo her first Grammy Award nomination for Best Song Written for Visual Media at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards. On 2 October 2015, a repackaged version of Queen of the Clouds was released as the Blueprint Edition. It features all tracks from the original release, as well as "Over", "Out of Mind", and "Paradise", taken from the 2014 Truth Serum EP, and Tove Lo's collaboration with Alesso, "Heroes (We Could Be)". In late 2015, she won the STIM platinum guitar prize.Lo was featured on Coldplay's "Fun", a track from their seventh album A Head Full of Dreams released on 4 December 2015.Tove Lo was also featured on the lead single to Nick Jonas's third studio album, Last Year Was Complicated, titled "Close". The song was released on March 25, 2016. Tove Lo is the featured artist on Australian artist Flume's single 'Say It', which was released on April 20, 2016.
In an interview during the 2016 Billboard Music Awards, Lo confirmed that she had finished recording her "darker and dreamier" second studio album, however, she declined to add further details as to when it would be released.
