Alexandra Ashley Hughes, better known by her stage name Allie X, is a Canadian artist. She released the song "Catch" in February 2014, which received notice when Katy Perry posted the song on her Twitter, calling it a "spring jam".
In July 2013, she moved to Los Angeles and ended up signing a publishing deal to work as a songwriter.
