Passenger是来自英国的民谣摇滚乐队，07年发行了首张专辑Wicked Man's Rest，之后团员Andrew Phillips离开，乐队也解散，之后成员Mike Rosenberg以Passenger为艺名继续音乐之路，取得了不小的成绩。

Passenger是一支以英伦风为主，夹杂电子和民谣的多风格乐队，传达着略带悲情的英格兰风情，风格有些类似Coldplay和Snow Patrol，成立于英格兰Brighton。

The Passengers were a 1970s Brussels post-punk/new wave band that later became better known as The Names. The original lineup included Michel Sordinia (bass, vocals), Isabelle Hanrez (vocals), Marc Deprez (guitar), Robert Franckson (guitar) and Christophe Den Tandt (drums).

The band formed in late 1977 and played their first gig in February 1978, performing a pop-oriented brand of post-punk. Musical influences at the time included the Velvet Underground, Richard Hell, Blondie and Television.

In March 1978, they won a punk contest and turned down the first prize. They were slated to record a single ("Danger Zone"/"Hole in Your Mind") with local punk/new wave label Romantik Records, but the effort never materialized.

In mid-1978, Hanrez and Franckson left the band. By late 1978, The Passengers, now influenced by Magazine and XTC, shifted to a new lineup including Den Tandt on keyboards. By mid-1979, the band changed names to become The Names.

Passenger, a group whose electronica-tinged balladry riffed on the pop pathos of bands like Coldplay and Snow Patrol, formed in Brighton, England as a collaboration between singer/songwriter Mike Rosenberg and composer Andrew Phillips. Working out of Phillips' studio, the duo recorded the songs that would become Wicked Man's Rest, their debut album. The disc was released on ChalkMark in 2007 and spawned several singles, including "Wicked Man's Rest" (the album's title track), "Walk You Home," "Do What You Like," and "Table For One." Passenger opened up for several high-profile indie acts throughout the UK that year, including Kate Nash and the Hold Steady. The following year found the band providing the soundtrack to the film Where Have I Been All Your Life, and performing at the 2008 SXSW Festival in Austin, TX.

Rosenberg wrote the majority of the album's tracks, with the exception of "Four Horses", which was written by Phillips. The band broke up in 2009.

After the break-up of Passenger, Rosenberg kept the stage-name Passenger and took to busking for a solo music career. He first took his act in October 2009 to Australia, where he supported acts such as Lior and Sydneysiders Elana Stone and Brian Campeau, and then played One Movement, a major music industry-focus festival in Perth. This earned him a big following in Australia and he was selling out 500-seater venues across Australia. His debut solo album, Wide Eyes Blind Love, was released in 2009. He also played various shows in the United Kingdom during this time, including a support slot for Turin Brakes' tenth anniversary show at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in London.

The follow-up album, Flight of the Crow, was recorded in Australia and saw him joined in the studio by various Australian independent musical talents including Lior, Kate Miller-Heidke, Boy & Bear, Josh Pyke and Katie Noonan, in addition to a fans-only limited release Divers and Submarines.

On his next album, recorded at Sydney's Linear Recording, Rosenberg was joined once again by a core Australian band that included Boy & Bear drummer Tim Hart, jazz bassist Cameron Undy, and keyboards player Stu Hunter, from Katie Noonan and The Captains. During the summer and autumn of 2012, Rosenberg toured the UK, opening for Jools Holland and good friend Ed Sheeran, the latter of whom he had known since he was about 15 while living in Cambridge.He also joined Australian acts the John Butler Trio, and Josh Pyke with a co-headlined UK tour. He also opened for Ed Sheeran's 2012 North American tour and also in Paris. All The Little Lights was released in summer of 2012 in North America on Nettwerk Records.He also opened for Ed Sheeran on his four out of five sell out dates in Ireland in January 2013 and in Australia and New Zealand in early 2013, and supported Sheeran in his Brighton dates and in Reading Rosenberg performed "All the Little Lights" at the Children in Need Rocks concert at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, broadcast on BBC One on 14 November.

On 24 March 2014, Passenger unveiled "Whispers", the title track of his new album, as part of his set at the Teenage Cancer Trust charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London where he also performed alongside Ed Sheeran. On 26 March, Passenger announced details of his fifth studio album. He released Whispers on 9 June 2014. Talking to Digital Spy about the album he said, "This is easily the most 'up' album I've ever made, it's quite cinematic. There are lots of big stories and big ideas. There are also some sombre moments about loneliness and death but hey, it wouldn't be a Passenger album without those." He released "Hearts on Fire" as the lead single from the album on 14 April 2014.

Passenger released Whispers II on 20 April 2015. All profits from the album go to the UNICEF UK initiative to help children in Liberia.

On 16th June 2016 via the music video on his YouTube channel for "Somebody's Love", Passenger announced his next album, titled Young as the morning, old as the sea, will be released on 23rd September 2016. A track from the upcoming album, titled "Somebody's Love"', was avaliable on the same day.
