Görkem Han Jr. projesi 2013 yılının ilk aylarında Ambient/Downtempo janrı altında Görkem Han tarafından solo bir proje olarak üretimine başlamıştır. Bu projeyle amaçlanan en büyük ilke, hepimizin aşikar olduğu hayatın vermiş olduğu stresten biraz uzaklaşıp, hep gerçekleştirmek istediğimiz hayallerimize dalmak ve yalnızken kendi iç dünyamıza dönüp, yaşadığımız güzel anıları hatırlamak.
Görkem Han Jr. bu proje ile yaklaşık 1 senede hem Türkiye'de, hem de yurt dışında ismini duyurmaya başlamıştır. Bugüne kadar 13 single bir de EP yayınlamıştır.
Bu yaz yayınladığı Ocean adlı tekliği 1 ay gibi kısa bir sürede soundcloud'da 100.000 dinlenmeyi aşarak tüm dünyada bir çok dinleyicinin beğenisini kazanmıştır.
Bugüne kadar çalıştığı bazı isimler ; Tricky, Darkside, Pullahs, Men with a Plan, Diskolog, Mindthings,Mind Shifter...
Görkem Han Jr., Hacettepe Üniversitesi Ankara Devlet Konservatuvarı Caz Anasanat Dalı Bölümü'nde vokal eğitimini sürdürmektedir.
Görkem Han Jr. project was initiated and started production during the first months of 2013 by Görkem Han as a solo project in the Ambient/Downtempo genre. The most prominent ambition and principle of this project is "Daydreaming". Leaving the troubles of a life that surrounds us all behind, prospecting the self in solitude, finding out what one really wants, and excavating the soul for the forgotten joys...
Görkem Han Jr. began to make a name within Turkey and Internationally in about 1 year and up till now has released 13 singles and an EP.
Last summer, the project has reached out to many listeners throughout the world within a short period of a single month with the release of the single named Ocean, by reaching over 100.000 listeners on Soundcloud.
Some of the artists Görkem Han Jr. collaborated with are; Tricky, Darkside, Pullahs, Men with a Plan, Diskolog, Mindthings, Mindshifter...
Görkem Han currently continues his vocal studies in Hacettepe University State Conservatory Jazz Department.
