by Mike DaRoncoRascal Basket combined a melody of harmonious vocals and a crunch of metal that was inspired by the likes of Black Sabbath and Soundgarden during their Louder Than Love period. With this sound, Johnny Green (bass), Jeff Dunn (guitar), Brock Beckman (drums), and Chris Hillier (vocals/guitar) woke up their native of Lincoln, NE, as -ismist Records issued their one and only full-length, vs. the Hordes of Venus, in 1996. But within several months after its release, Rascal Basket fell apart by the end of that same year.
