by Kenyon HopkinFollowing in the footsteps of lush neo-psych rock bands with falsetto vocals, Philadelphia/New Jersey-area band Like a Fox are comprised of ex-Lenola members Jay Laughlin (guitar, vocals), Dave Grubb (guitar, keyboard), and Jeff Scioli (guitar, keyboard), along with Brian Wilkinson (bass) and Pete Girgenti (drums). With the breakup of noise poppers Lenola in 2002, Laughlin started drafting music that mixed rock and electronics. Before recording anything, a full band was in place by 2004 to perform the songs live. Recording began in early 2005 and a debut self-titled album surfaced in mid-2006.
