by Jason BirchmeierBeginning in the early 90s, Benjamin Wild produced tracks for Germanys most well-known and celebrated tech-house labels, including Perlon, Kompakt, and Force Tracks. The German producer began producing tracks in the early 90s for the Fax label alongside Peyman Shamlou but eventually began orientating his productions increasingly toward the dancefloor. His release for Kompakt, Kronberg, attracted much attention among the international techno community, as did his work for Perlon, another German label with an internationally renowned reputation. In addition to these releases, as well as other releases for lesser-known labels such as Festplatten and Dial, Wild eventually began producing tracks for Force Incs tech-house subsidiary, Force Tracks. Following two 12 releases, the Frankfurt-based label released Wilds first full-length album, With Compliments. It compiled one of his previously released Perlon productions, f(m).com, as well as several of the tracks from his Force Tracks 12s; however, the majority of the album had been previously unreleased.
