Infected Mushroom这光看团名或许你难以联想到究竟是何种曲风的音乐组合，但若提醒你这是2006 DJMag Top 100 DJ Poll的第12名，或许你可能会稍有印象。

是的，由来自以色列的Erez Aizen与Amit Duvdevani aka Duvdev所组成的Trance电舞团体Infected Mushroom，自99年的首张专辑至今已发表过6张大碟，向来以高能量的Psy-Trance再加以强悍奔驰的BPM为其特色。然而，在此睽违多时的新辑《Vicious Delicious》中除了保有一贯的爆猛性Psy-Trance的专辑同名单曲〈Vicious Delicious〉外，尝试向嘻哈取经的〈Artillery〉、华丽的Electronica〈Forgive Me〉、电影配乐史诗氛围的Heavyweight〉，首支主打单曲〈Becoming Insane〉更以融入佛朗明哥节拍与吉他声线及Duvdev所带来的Vocal演绎，再加上墨西哥知名乐队Kinky当中的主音歌手Gil Cerezo同台演出，终以成就出无懈可击的完美劲曲。

Mining Israelian Goa trance of its hottest intensities, Infected Mushroom remain one of the Middle Easts biggest international cult successes. Erez Aizens cheap background in obsessed bedroom computer tinkering had led him into and out of a number of crude dance efforts, and when a mutual friend suggested he should get together with Amit Duvdevani, a trash metal fan who had just returned from an aborted career path in India, the two found enough in common to surreptitiously explore the rising psychedelic trends pouring out the nations clubs. The results — 1998s The Gathering, which was heavily inspired by the surreal ambient dance of Simon Posford, X-Dream, and Transwave, and 2000s Classical Mushroom, an aggressively melodic trance LP that broke the European, Japanese, and American markets — elevated Infected Mushroom to one of Israels key trance producing duos.
