by Jason BirchmeierDuring the late 90s, Vinylgroover became one of the most popular happy hardcore DJs on the scene before transitioning toward the early-2000s U.K. hard house scene. His World of Vinylgroover series of records solidified his popularity in the late 90s, in addition to his voluminous canon of 12 releases. In 2001, hiGHBorn Records released Hard Energy, a mix album that showcased Vinylgroovers move into Nu-NRG/hard house territory.
