by Mike DaRoncoBy combining the efforts of traditional Middle Eastern and jazz influences with modern day elements of electronic, and hip-hop, Qaballah Steppers first established themselves as innovators for dub genre with their 1997 debut album Dub in Fusion. Collaborating producers Professors Shehab and J.P. Sluys who make up this foundation, eventually found themselves touring Europe in support of their first album and even acquiring drummer Francolis Lardeau, turning Qauballah Steppers into a three piece. Two years later, the band had that chance to flex as a three piece with their follow up Passage at Noon on their own Baraka Foundation.
