by Stephen Thomas ErlewineDick Siegel earned a reputation as one of Michigans best singer/songwriters during the 70s and 80s. Siegel never had much of an opportunity to record until the 90s, when he released Angels Aweigh and Snap! Both albums received positive reviews and the songwriter won the Best New Folk Artist award at the 1991 Kerrville Folk Festival.
