Mikky Ekko is an unsigned singer and songwriter, born in Mississippi, and currently living in Nashville. Ekko's sound has been described as haunting, evoking comparisons to Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Freddy Mercury, Bjork and Rufus Wainright.
His five-song debut EP, Strange Fruit, was produced by Tim Lauer and recorded at Dogwood Studios in Nashville. It is available on iTunes, Amazon MP3, and Napster. In the fall of 2009, Ekko is scheduled to tour with 10 out of Tenn , an album and concert tour project, featuring eleven (originally 10) upcoming Nashville artists
