Burkina Electric combines the traditions and rhythms of Burkina Faso with contemporary electronic dance culture, making it a trailblazer in electronic world music. The group consists of two dancers/singers, a guitar player and singer Maï Lingani from Burkina Faso, and Austrian composer and drummer Luka Ligeti. Their music is truly African electronica, an exotic exploration and fusion of musical styles that is experimental and entertaining.
