A Punch’s Pilot was brought together through years of experience and a brotherhood established by three local talented musicians playing in and around the Cleveland music scene. A Punch’s Pilot members have been hitting it hard over the past decade and through their hard work and sheer determination to succeed, they have become a well-respected force in our rock and roll community.

Mark Garrett, lead guitarist and vocals, was introduced to music by his uncles in 1991 as a young boy where he learned to play Drums, Guitar and Bass. As a teenager he became a member of several local garage bands. In 2008, while he was playing a battle of the bands in Cleveland he met Al. It was there that A Punch’s Pilot was born.

Brian Besserman, bassist, is a young but seasoned musician whose credentials speak for themselves. An energetic force on the performing stage, he brings a vast knowledge of music and recording talent to the band. He attended Tri-C for recording engineering and has been in several local rock bands since his high school days. In 2006, he and Mark played in the band Osirus where his bass riffs became legendry and signature to his unique style which he now brings to A Punch’s Pilot.

Al aka Tackle, drummer and percussionist, is an all-around in the pocket musician. He has been the driving force behind A Punch’s Pilot since inception and has his own unique style and sound that is unmatched. Al has been playing in the Cleveland music scene, making himself a local household name and has performed in bands such as D-Rail and many more. Growing up on the streets of Cleveland’s west side, Al never had an easy road, but he took that experience and against all odds succeeded and is on his way to musical greatness with A Punch’s Pilot.

In 2016 A Punch’s Pilot was signed by Rudy Records from Springfield, Massachusetts, and Al, Mark and Brian are primed and ready to create some major waves in the local and national music scene.
