Jaroslav Beck (born 29 May 1988 in Strakonice) is a Czech music composer who is well known for his work on Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch short movies, an award winning introduction trailer StarCraft: Legacy of the Void or various trailers for Battlefield by EA Games. In 2016 he founded his own company called “Epic Music Productions” focusing on soundtrack music composition for both the gaming and movie industry.
Jaroslav is a highly passionate Music Composer and Sound Designer who combines futuristic electronic music with classical orchestral elements to reach his signature sound.
His specialisation is in composing and remixing music for AAA games, movie soundtracks, and trailers for clients such as Blizzard Entertainment, EA Games and Disney.
His music became known in Blizzard's short movie "Alive" from the game Overwatch, and also a Star Craft II cinematic for which the Blizzard audio team received the "Best Cinematic Audio Cut Scene Award" at the G.A.N.G Awards 2016.
In May 2016 he launched a company called "Epic Music Productions" which focuses on composing modern cinematic music. He is also member of the Czech Forbes "30 under 30" list.
