Inner Sleeve was formed by Simon Scott, once drummer of Slowdive, who parted amicably to pursue his own music interests.
"In London during 1997 Simon formed alternative/noise/electronica outfit Inner sleeve writing the songs, playing guitar (loudly) and singing lead vocals but after two singles and one album on Fierce Panda he split the group and drummed for Lowgold. They signed to Nude records in 1999 but after Grandaddy, Ed Harcourt and Coldplay tours, a critically acclaimed debut album and frustration Simon walked out."
He now fronts Televise.
