Felicia Atkinson is a visual artist and experimental musician born in 1981 in Paris living in the French Alps
Her music is a combination of improvisation and composition layered together, as an abstract and mysterious woven material, where voice meet electronics, acoustic instruments electric distortions,.
Her various opus, from tapes to Lps, passing by cd and cd-rs, have been previously released by labels such as Home Normal, HIbernate, Spekk, Cooper Cult of Fluid Audio and also a radiophonic pieces for the french cultural radio,
She also performs and records under the moniker Je Suis Le Petit Chevalier (aguirre/ shelter press/ sic sic tapes) and is a part of the duo NAKED ISLAND with Ensemble Economique ( Peak Oil)
Her musical performances have travelled in different places over the world since 2006, from rock venues to museums, such as Worm in Rotterdam, Occi in Amsterdam, Wiels in Brussels, MSK in Ghent, Palais de Tokyo in Paris, the MCA of Chicago, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, Synchronicty Space in Los Angeles, Huguenaut Haus in Kassel, or an old buddhist temple near Hiroshima….
She opened/toured with/for Grouper at Moe. in Vienna, Mirroring at Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, Gabriel Saloman in Swizerland, Sun Araw in Canada, Lee Noble at X.church in Los Angeles, Ensemble Economique in Paris and Portland.
Her influences embodies Pierre Henry 's Apocalypse de Saint Jean, Maurice Ravel's L'enfant et les Sortileges, Luc Ferrari's Presque rien or Ruth White's Flowers of Evil as well as Neil Young's on the Beach, or Nico's desert shore.
