美国嘻哈歌手J. Cole全名Jermaine Cole，1985年1月28日出生于德国法兰克福。是Jay-Z的新唱片公司Roc Nation的第一个签约艺人。
出生在德国的J. Cole在1岁时就跟随母亲移居美国北卡罗来纳州的费耶特维尔。2003年在当地的特里山福德高中毕业后考上了纽约的圣约翰大学。因为他想在纽约开始他的音乐之路。2007年末，J. Cole发行了自己第一张mixtape，Jay-Z在听了“Lights Please”之后就将他签入帐下。2009年6月15日，他发行了自己第二张mixtape《The Warm Up》。接着他还在Jay-Z新专辑《The Blueprint 3》的一首“A Star Is Born”中客串。目前他正在与制作人No I.D.合作，创作自己的处子专辑。
Jermaine Lamarr Cole (born January 28, 1985), better known by his stage name J. Cole, is an American hip-hop recording artist and record producer from Fayetteville, North Carolina. In 2009, he became the first artist to sign to Jay-Z's Roc Nation label. His debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story was released on September 27, 2011. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, Top R&B Albums and Top Rap Albums chart, selling more than 218,000 in its first week. He received a nomination for Best New Artist at the 54th Grammy Awards.
