Paxson Jeancake, 一位敬拜乐演出导演, 也是亚特兰大"East Cobb Presbyterian"教堂的福音歌手。2006年和2007年, Paxson和她的妻子Allison一直都在美国大型教堂"General Assembly of the Presbyterian"进行工作演出。 2010年1月初,他们发行了福音敬拜乐专辑《Wide Awake》.
I started playing the guitar when I was twelve. I formed a garage band and wanted to be like Eddie Van Halen. Allison started playing the piano and singing when she was a six. She did show choirs. That pretty much sums up how we complement one another, musically.
Allison and I met one night in Birmingham, AL. I asked her out the next day, but she turned me down. About a year later I tried again, she accepted. That was July 15, 1997. We've been together ever since.
I accepted my first full-time worship leader position in 1998 at Good Shepherd Presbyterian in Ocala, FL. Allison and I married in 1999 and lived in Ocala together for the first year and a half of our marriage. We moved to Atlanta in 2000 where I served as the Director of Worship & Arts at East Cobb Presbyterian for eight years. This was a great season of life and ministry. Both of our girls were born in Atlanta. It was also the city where I earned my seminary degree, recorded two CDs, and wrote my first book.
We moved to northern California (Roseville) in 2008. I am currently the Director of Worship & Arts at Valley Springs Presbyterian. We love the culture and landscape out here, though it is very different from the South. We just recently finished our third worship project, Wide Awake. We're really proud of this record and hope that it reaches the hearts and voices of many across our country and the world.
