成员如小型联合国的Eldissa合唱团将70年代盛行的迪斯可名曲以轻柔的芭莎诺瓦和即兴的爵士乐为编曲的架构，藉由原音吉他清新澄澈的弦音为营造氛围的主要器乐，佐以打击器乐的缓拍碎音，再加上该团三位主唱如丝滑顺，似风轻柔的悦耳声线，让「比吉斯合唱团」、「阿巴合唱团」、「麦可杰克森」、「唐娜桑玛」、「艾琳卡拉」、「安迪威廉斯」…等等巨星的动感劲曲，焕然幻成属於都会沙发情境式的听觉美学。

Le Maquis proudly presents one of the most astonishing musical concepts of the year. When disco meets Bossa by Eldissa, a record that revives the biggest disco tunes - Bee Gees, Michael Jackson, ABBA, Donna Summer, Village People… into Bossa with a touch of Lounge. This amazing project of fusion between different music types was initiated by famous Brazilian Guitarist Ecio Parreira and BlueFish’s Producer Rio who spent almost two years to pick the right songs, the right tempo and chords as well as the best approach to re-arrange the biggest disco hits into Bossa Nova style. Undoubtedly they needed the right singers, too. De L’Amour and Marci, both London-based vocalists with caribbean roots and Chloé coming from New York, were chosen among 120 different candidates. Their beautiful crystal clear and fresh voices give a smooth and sophisticated flavour with a brilliant suuny taste to the Bossa Nova music. It wasn’t easy but worth trying as the result is so suprisingly natural that we wonder how come nobody ever thought about it before ! Enjoy listening then !
