Not to be confused with Canadian commercial rockers Theory of a Deadman, Memories of a Dead Man hail from Paris, France, and delve into the aggressive post-hardcore style popularized by the likes of Isis, Cult of Luna, with shades of Tool and Deftones thrown in for good measure. Originally formed circa 2006, the quintet soon parlayed its growing live experience into a self-titled five song EP, released independently the following year.
