Led by the darkly romantic vocalist, songwriter, and guitarist Kristofer Dommin, Los Angeles, CA's Dommin first caught the attention of the darkly clad eyeliner set with the 2006 self-released album, Mend Your Misery. Soon after, the band -- the membership was rounded out by bassist Billy James, keyboardist Konstantine, and Cameron on drums -- landed a deal with one of the more powerful players in heavy metal and hard rock, Roadrunner Records. Home to such heavyweights as Nickelback, Sammy Hagar, and Opeth, Roadrunner was a perfect place for Dommin's dark, emotional message to reach a vast audience. The majority of 2008 would find Dommin and company recording tracks for their debut for the label, which would see release in the winter of 2008-2009.
