by Greg PratoA self described "guitar power trio played by middle-aged wild people," Guss is comprised of band members Leroy Critcher - guitar, guitar synth, Daniel Scollard - bass, and Dave Storrs - drums. The group has issued a lone, completely improvised live album thus far, 1998's As Is, which was released via Storrs' own independent record label, Louie Records. Additionally, most of its members have played with others and/or issued their own albums (Scollard with Thousand Pieces and Mottburger, Storrs with the Tone Sharks, plus a pair of solo releases from the '80s, Ross Island and Jumper Cables).
