这支组建于1995年的德国天团，就像是一支热衷于 Standard 的爵士乐队，是一支由皇牌DJ与顶尖音乐制作人组成的团队：Stefan Leisering、Axel Reinemer、Roskow Kretschmann、Jürgen von Knoblauch、Alexander Barck 和 Claas Brieler 组成。随便哪一个都可被称作是Nu-Jazz领域的大师级人物了。轻快，明朗，让你情不自禁的想跳舞，让你也有做DJ的冲动。
相信他们首先是很多女人的最爱。堪称电子爵士领域先驱者,从首张专辑《中间》（In Between）开始，他们坚持行走在自然声与电声、新与旧、夜场与家之间的“中间地带”，聆听者可以如数家珍般地给到描述他们流派的词汇：Nu-Jazz，Chill-out，Jazz House…真可谓是不胜枚举了。自然而然的，这支乐团也成为了全球DJ播放炙热歌曲时的风向标般，或者说是教科书般的参照。影响了Lenny Kravitz、4 Hero、Incognito等乐界大腕。
Jazzanova，迄今为止，只有一张创作专辑（2002年的《In Between》），却发表了很多 Remix 唱片，而"The Remixes 2002-2005" 是继2000 年的《Remixes 1997-2000》之后最新的合集，精选了这五年里 Jazzanova 的混音作品。Jazzanova 的 Remix，电子痕迹很淡，其主要成分是黑人骚灵、R&B、上世纪 60 年代的经典放客与爵士特色，有一些融合了 House、Trip Hop 的音乐。
Jazzanova is a German Berlin-basedDJ/producer collective consisting of Alexander Barck, ClaasBrieler, Jürgen von Knoblauch, RoskowKretschmann, Stefan Leisering, and Axel Reinemer. Formed in 1995,the group is one of the foremost proponents of the nu-jazz, chillout and jazz house styles of music associated with record labels such as Compost Records and Sonar Kollektiv. They have also experimented with Latin jazz, which can be heard on the song "Tres Bien".
Could we say when they write their own songs, they come up with a larger repertoire. Recording with live instruments from the start was the important next step…They also have a side-project, "Extended Spirit". They also gained recognition as innovative remixers for a vast number of acts such as Marschmellows, Ian Pooley, Incognito, 4Hero, M.J. Cole and Masters At Work to name but a few.Their latest release is the studio album Of All the Things, released on October 21, 2008.
