Dr. Motte (aka Matthias Roeingh) began DJing in 1985, and (inspired by Marshall Jefferson), moved to house music two years later. In 1989, he founded Berlins Love Parade; though the first year included only 150 people, 1995s edition brought in 250,000. By 1991, Dr. Motte had opened his own 6am Eternal club, also. The following year, he began recording with Uwe Reineke on the duos own Space Teddy label. The same year, he released the Chill Out Planet Earth album as Euphorhythm. A second album, entitled Politics of Life (The Collection of Experiences), appeared in 1995. Besides occasional collaborations with 3 Phase, Dr. Motte has also recorded the album Ki with Johnny Klimek and Paul Browse as 030.
