Legendary Punk band from Hamburg, West-Germany.
Formed in 1979, split up in 1994, Slime did shows occasionally from 1985 on until the end of the 80's.
Reformed for live performances in 2010, but after a enormous reunion tour success the new reformed band of three old members and the two new members (bass player "Nici" and drummer Alex Schwers) decided to release a sixth studio album for 2012, taking the lyrics and compose them of the anarchist, outlaw, writer and poet Erich Mühsam to bypass to write the lyrics by themselves, because they are not very sophisticated in it and their main texter and ex-member Stephan Mahler didn't like to be part of the reunion of the band again. In that way they dealed with that subject "lyrics" and adapted them of course to their Punkrock music.
