by Ed RivadaviaOakland natives Drunk Horse feature Elijah Eckert (vocals/guitar), John Niles (guitar), Cyrus Comiskey (bass), and Cripe Jergensen (drums), and perform amped-up hard rock boogie akin to ZZ Top and Thin Lizzy-gone-stoner rock. Signed to the Bay Area-based, now defunct Man's Ruin label, the group released a number of singles, a 1999 self-titled album, and 2001's Tanning Salon/Biblical Proportions before the label went under. Picked up by Tee Pee Records, the band returned in 2003 with their third album, Adult Situations.
