An English producer and multi-instrumentalist who first caught the public's attention during the mid-'90s Brit-pop scene with his popular DJ sets on Blur's Parklife tour, Andy Lewis is also an accomplished solo artist and the bass player for Paul Weller -- he is also a member of the bands Pimlico, the Red Inspectors, and Spearmint. He released his debut solo outing, Billion Pound Project, in 2005, followed by You Should Be Hearing Something Now! In 2007, both of which were released via Acid Jazz Records. The mini-album 41 arrived in 2011, followed in 2014 by the digital releases Songs for a South Herts Symphony, Bassetlaw, and Get Ready!, the latter of which was credited to Lewis, Doyle & Twyman. In 2017 Lewis teamed up with seminal U.K. folk vocalist Judy Dyble (Fairport Convention, Trader Horne, Giles, Giles and Fripp) for the bucolic folk-pop LP Summer Dancing. ~ James Christopher Monger
