A New York-based DJ team that specializes in a mixture of house, electro, post-punk, and new wave, Dominique Clausen and Oliver Stumm call themselves -- as well as their label, active since the late '90s -- A Touch of Class. Though they released a handful of their own 12" singles, they were known more for their outside production work -- such as the Ones' "Flawless," a Top Ten hit in the U.K. -- as well as their many remixes, including Taana Gardner's "Heartbeat," Erasure's "Don't Say You Love Me," and Le Tigre's "After Dark." In addition to releasing the Ones on ATOC, the duo also helped launch the Scissor Sisters by issuing "Electrobix" and "Comfortably Numb." They compiled and mixed some of the best moments from their label on 2004's A Touch of Class Sucks! and 2007's A Touch of Class Still Sucks!
