by Margaret RegesThe bouncy, ska-influenced pop band Valvomo were best known for the single "Mika Kesa" (What a Summer), which turned out to be one of Finland's most popular songs in 2006. Comprised of Helsinki-based musicians Seta, TeiSka, Ville, and Markiisi, the band formed in 2005 in a bid to make politically aware music with a pop bent.
