by Richie UnterbergerIdol Fodder is something of a spin-off band of Family Fodder, as Alig Fodder (aka Alig Pearce) writes most of the material and takes a lot of the vocals, with help from singer (and daughter of Family Fodder vocalist Dominique Levillain) Darlini Singh-Kaul. Their 2008 release Bäbytalk combined post-punk at its lightest with traces of classical chamber music, jazz, funk, and ambient instrumental passages. As part of Slender Means Society's Pregnancy Series, its press run was limited to 700 retail copies.
