by Heather PharesOriginally the solo project of composer/singer d.A. Sebasstian, Seattles Kill Switch Klick became one of the Northwests leading industrial crossover bands. Sebasstian began Kill Switch Klick in 1991 and added drummer/percussionist Mike Ditmore the following year. The duo remained the core of the group as they traveled from the Urge Ltd. imprint to Cleopatra in 1994; that year, they released their debut album, Beat It to Fit, Paint It to Match, as well as a rarities collection, Oddities & Versions. After touring the U.S. with And Christ Wept on the Muzak for the Masses Tour, Kill Switch Klick returned with 1997s Degenerate and Alt, a remix/B-sides compilation. Sebasstian formed his own label, Iregular, on which the bands final album Organica was released in 1999. That year, Sebasstian put the Kill Switch Klick name to rest and pursued a solo career.
