The Ready Set 是一个20岁的美国另类摇滚、电子和流行音乐歌手。他的本名为Jordan Witzigreuter，The Ready Set 则是他的艺名。Jordan Witzigreuter是“The Ready Set”的唯一正式成员。在巡回演出时他有另外三个队员加入乐队；贝斯手Andy Snyder，鼓手Travis Rountree和吉他手Keegan Weckler。早期时，他在他父母家的地下室里制作音乐。 他14岁时第一双拿起吉他，当时他已经是很多当地乐队的成员，但他意识到他真正想要的是他自己的声音。在16岁这个年轻小伙子开始了个人独奏项目。 2009年11月，The Ready Set和Decaydance Records还有Sire Records签约，并且在2010年春天发布了他的第一张完整专辑I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming。
和The Ready Set一同共享过同一个舞台的乐队有Hey Monday， Stereo Skyline，Boys Like Girls，Never Shout Never和The Scene Aesthetic。
