艺人介绍
Jazz-inflected pop singer CYN, aka Cynthia Nabozny, grew up near Detroit. She spent her teenage years listening to classic vocalists like Frank Sinatra and Doris Day with her grandmother, and entered talent competitions and uploaded covers on YouTube with little success. However, she was motivated to keep singing and writing after meeting Katy Perry on Perry's California Dreams Tour in 2011, and she continued to make music while earning a degree at Chicago's DePaul University. Over the years, she collaborated with producers including Felix Snow, Sorrow, and Galimatias, and collected five of her songs on a self-titled 2014 EP. In 2017, CYN signed to Perry's Unsub Records label and released the lighter-than-air single "Together," which featured production by OMEGA, that July. Another single, "Only with You," arrived two months later. ~ Heather Phares
