by Mike DaRoncoEven though the revolving lineup of String Builder has been as continual as their geographic relocation, the band was primarily fronted by Alec and Joel Thibodeau. Eventually settling down in Providence, RI, in 1997, the brothers' formula of light, melodic folk-pop was captured on a self-released EP entitled Lake View in the following year. Their first full-length didn't emerge until 2001, with their eponymous release on Handsome Records.
