by Thom GrangerOne of the founding fathers of Jesus Music in the late 60s, Norman left L.A. band People! to record Upon This Rock in late 1969, which, along with Mylon LeFevres solo debut, marked the beginnings of the genre. His Only Visiting This Planet was, and still is for many, a high-water mark for Christian rock. Recent years have found him recording and touring less and less, paritally due to health problems.
